Hypnotic Techno is about repetition that never feels static: long, evolving arpeggios, deep rolling low end and slowly breathing textures that pull the listener into a trance-like state. Rooted in the deeper side of the European underground, it sits between the dance floor and ambient music, where it’s more about the journey than the drop.

'Full MIDI Tracks Series: Hypnotic Techno' from Equinox Sounds gives you 30 complete ambient hypnotic techno tracks, each about 4 minutes long, as multitrack MIDI with an MP3 version to preview. Every track is built around polyrhythmic arpeggios: note, rhythm and accent patterns of different lengths drift against the 4/4 grid, so the phrase keeps shifting while it repeats. A slow mutation changes the pattern over time, and CC74 filter automation is included so the arpeggio can open and close on its own in your synth.

CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED:

A step-by-step MIDI Import Guide takes you from the ZIP file to your first track playing in minutes. It covers Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper and Bitwig. It also explains which sounds to load on each track, how to set up the drums and how to map the filter automation, and it has a troubleshooting section for common issues. A detailed README adds the full catalog, the structure of every track and production tips.

WHAT'S INSIDE:

• 30 full tracks (128 bars, 124–130 BPM)

• 6 tracks per MIDI file: Arp A, Arp B (bells), Bass, Drone, Drums (General MIDI) and a tempo track with section markers

• MP3 previews for each track included

• MIDI Import Guide (PDF) with instructions for 8 DAWs

• README (PDF) with the full catalog and production tips

• Royalty-free license

HOW YOU CAN USE IT:

Load a full arrangement and add your own sounds, pull out a single arpeggio for a new idea, or study how the polyrhythms are built. Every part is fully editable and works with any DAW that reads MIDI.

NOTE: The MP3s are made with simple synthesis to preview notes and structure; the download contains MIDI and audio files only, with no synth presets.

'Full MIDI Tracks Series: Vintage Modular Ambient Vol 2' from Equinox Sounds continues the journey into the timeless world of analog modular ambience, offering another set of 30 full-length MIDI compositions inspired by the organic beauty of classic modular synthesizers. Expanding upon the foundation established in Volume 1, this collection explores deeper harmonic landscapes, richer evolving textures, and even more spacious, meditative musical forms. 100% Royalty-Free.

Rather than relying on beats or conventional song structures, these compositions embrace slow harmonic evolution, sustained chordal movement, subtle melodic development, and hypnotic repetition. Every piece is designed to create immersive sonic environments, making this collection ideal for ambient albums, film scoring, meditation, sound therapy, art installations, and long-form listening experiences.

Continuing the Modular Journey:

Following the aesthetic established in the first volume, 'Vintage Modular Ambient Vol 2' explores new harmonic pathways while remaining faithful to the philosophy of early modular ambient music.

Inspired by the warmth of vintage analog systems, tape-era recording techniques, and the unpredictable beauty of modular synthesis, these compositions prioritize atmosphere over rhythm and emotional progression over musical complexity.

Each arrangement unfolds gradually across 4–5 minutes, allowing textures, harmonies, and subtle melodic ideas to evolve naturally, creating an experience that feels both timeless and deeply immersive.

Each MIDI File Includes:

• MP3 preview for instant reference

• Chord progression chart (TXT format) for harmonic understanding

These additional resources make the collection equally valuable for music production, composition study, harmonic analysis, and creative inspiration.

Perfect For:

• Ambient and Deep Ambient music

• Vintage modular-inspired productions

• Film, television, and documentary scoring

• Meditation, mindfulness, and wellness content

• Sound healing and immersive installations

• Minimalist and experimental electronic music

Unified Harmonic System:

As with Volume 1, every composition is written in C minor, allowing complete compatibility across the series.

This unified harmonic approach enables you to freely combine progressions, layer sections from both volumes, exchange musical ideas, or create entirely new long-form ambient works while maintaining harmonic coherence throughout.

Sonic Aesthetics:

'Vintage Modular Ambient Vol 2' continues exploring the signature characteristics of classic analog ambient music:

• Slowly evolving harmonic progressions

• Delicate melodic movement

• Spacious, meditative structures

• Organic repetition and gradual transformation

• Warm, contemplative, and timeless atmospheres

The musical language draws inspiration from the pioneering spirit of early electronic ambient music, celebrating analog modular workflows, tape-inspired aesthetics, and patient long-form composition without referencing any specific artists.

Unlimited Creative Possibilities:

Because every composition is provided entirely as MIDI, you retain complete creative freedom over the final production.

You can:

• Drive modular synthesizers, software instruments, or hardware setups

• Experiment with entirely new sound palettes

• Reharmonize or revoice any progression

• Extend, loop, or restructure sections for evolving soundscapes

• Combine material from both Vintage Modular Ambient volumes to create unique compositions

This is not a loop library or a collection of isolated phrases. It is a complete compositional toolkit designed for ambient composers seeking expressive harmony, organic development, and maximum flexibility.

Please Note:

The audio demo included with this product is intended solely as a demonstration of what can be achieved using the MIDI material provided.
